My Story
With my art, I aim to create escapist moments in life. To give the viewer a moment of peace and escape from the chaotic world we live in, which is at times can be an extremely difficult thing to do. To be able to take someone away from reality and all the weight that can come with it, and take him or her elsewhere, is the overall goal of my work. I believe this is why I lean towards creating different realities from what is given to us, new worlds, new creatures and characters that take a person away, even just for a little while.
I am currently a fourth year student studying my Fine Arts B.F.A at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, with my focuses being illustration, concept design, digital media and storyboarding. Through my education at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, I have been able to not only improve my skills as an but also as a professional working in the industry.
Prior to returning to University, I had worked within the Vancouver film industry, both on set as a PA and Set Decorating, as well as within pre-production in set design, set building, and storyboarding. My goals, in the end of the day and when my studies for my degree eventually end, is to return to the film industry in pre-production, working in the art department.
